One from two ain’t bad is it?
Munster secured another vital win today against Ulster in the PRO12, guaranteeing them a play-off spot and virtually guaranteeing themselves a home semi-final.
There was some worrying scenes on the injury front however with Darren Sweetnam leaving the field just two minutes into the game with a head injury and Rory Scannell limping off late in the game in what looked like a significant injury to his leg after landing rather awkwardly.
Andrew Conway however came on and played an absolute blinder in place of Sweetnam, while Francis Saili also impressed with a dazzling run to set up Keith Earls’ try. With that Munster fans should be confident in the depth they have in those positions.
The bad news however is Conor Murray’s fitness is still up in the air and it’s looking increasingly unlikely that he will not feature against Saracens. But wait, we promised you some really good news and here it is…
CJ Stander has been telling people in Limerick that he’s confident he will be good to go come Saturday. Just say a few prayers for Murray.
