Watch: TV3’s Tribute To Paul O’Connell Is Simply Fantastic
Paul O’Connell shocked the rugby world today when he announced he would be retiring from rugby with immediate effect.
O’Connell suffered a devastating hamstring injury in Ireland’s Rugby World Cup game against France, tearing the muscle completely off the bone. The injury has gotten the better of O’Connell and has forced him to call time on his career and career in France before it began.
During their World Cup Coverage, TV3 following his injury, decided to honour the legendary lock with a fantastic tribute voiced by another Irish legend- Keith Wood, that would bring a tear to any eye. Happy retirement Paulie!
