Watch: Joe Marler Mic’d Up At Lions Training Camp Is Absolutely Brilliant

England front-row Joe Marler was recently mic’d up during the Lions week long training camp at the Vale of Glamorgan in Cardiff and it made for some hilarious results.

A special Canterbury event was held last Wednesday after training with a number of young fans be given a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet their heroes and train with the British & Irish Lions.

We were at the event ourselves and it really was brilliant to see just how much the kids enjoyed it. We did notice however that Joe Marler seemed to be up to a bit of mischief throughout the event, but think much of it, given the kind of colourful character he is.

Turns out he had a player mic on all along, with the Lions releasing a brilliant video afternoon that’s well worth a watch. Marler tries to catch out the likes of Harlequins teammate Kyle Sinckler and Ben Te’o with some excellent questions
