Watch: Glasgow Teammates Brilliantly Take The Piss Out Of Stuart Hogg Following Award
This is brilliant.
Stuart Hogg followed in the footsteps of Ireland legend Brian O’Driscoll yesterday in scooping back-to-back Six Nations Player of the Tournament awards. The Glasgow fullback staved off some stiff competition from the likes of CJ Stander and Louis Picamoles to scoop the prestigious award.
Hogg, who made his 53rd appearance for Scotland during the Championship, commented:
“To receive this award again is an absolute honour, particularly when you take other players on the shortlist into account. I’m delighted to be awarded the RBS Player of the Championship Trophy and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted and the fans for their continued support throughout the Championship.”
Hogg, who is expected to be the Lions’ Test fullback this summer is now back with Glasgow following the Six Nations as they prepare for their first ever Champions Cup quarter final in less than two weeks, and was broke the news at a team meeting.
It makes for some hilarious viewing. Check it out below.
