Watch: A Number Of Controversial Decisions Hand New Zealand Victory In Dublin

What a game, what a performance from Ireland.

New Zealand have got their revenge but not without controversy. Following Ireland’s famous win in Chicago, the All Blacks have got one back with 21-9 win over Joe Schmidt’s men in Dublin.

Steve Hansen’s men however, scored a contentious try in the opening half as Beauden Barrett was adjudged to have grounded the ball although replays appeared to suggest that Johnny Sexton’s heroics may have been enough to prevent the score.

Robbie Henshaw also went off injured early in the first-half thanks to a high shoulder by Sam Cane that many fans believe should have been a red, especially with World Rugby stating that referee’s must now clamp down on any head contact.

New Zealand also scored a third try that perhaps looked forward, that the referee refused to check on with his TMO despite Rory Best telling him that it was a must, as there was so much on the line.

The All Blacks were cynical, Ireland were heroic. Schmidt should be damn proud of his men.
