There’s More Bad News On The Injury Front For Ireland
We reported yesterday that as many as six Irish players were set to miss out on this Summer’s tour to South Africa.
The Irish Independent have now reported that a decision has been made for Simon Zebo to undergo surgery in order to address some longstanding issues with his knee.
The keyhole surgery now puts Zebo’s involvement in the summer tour to South Africa in doubt as he will have to undergo rehab in order to return to full fitness.
World Rugby yesterday announced the date for the Rugby World Cup 2019 draw, with Joe Schmidt now well aware that Ireland’s next twelve games will play a huge part in deciding whether or not they attain a top 8 ranking and top rank seeding ahead of the draw.
