This game is going to be unbelievable.
An Irish Legends XV will face England in memory of Anthony Foley on the eve of Ireland’s Six Nations clash with England.
The special exhibition game will take place on Paddy’s Day at the RDS on the eve of Ireland and England’s potential mammoth Six Nations decider at the Aviva.
This is the eight time the annual curtain raiser goes ahead with 2017 set to be the biggest in recent memory with the likes of Paul O’Connell and Gordon D’Arcy set to line out for the Irish, with Mike Tindall and Mark Cueto on board for the English.
It’s now also been revealed that none other than Ronan O’Gara will be lining out for the Ireland legend team for the event. O’Gara doesn’t normally play in legends games, but made a special exception because the game is in honour of his late friend. What cracker this is going to be.
