This weekend sees Wales take on England in what is one of the fiercest rivalries in rugby union history.

Last time round Wales came out on top in Twickenham as they embarrassed England as hosts at the Rugby World Cup, but what are the greatest rivalries in rugby union history down through the years?

English newspaper The Daily Telegraph have put together their top 10 greatest rivalries in a feature article, as they build up to this weekend’s mammoth clash, and it’s hard to disagree with their selection.

Ireland’s bitter rivalry with the old enemy of course makes the list along with some of the Southern hemisphere’s biggest clashes including the rivalry that exists between the world champions New Zealand and their neighbours Australia and South Africa. Check out the full list below.
