Six Nations Team Of The Week – Round 4

A weekend of massive highs and massive lows.

Ireland’s hopes of winning a third Six Nations title in four years were brought to an abrupt end on Friday thanks to a bruising performance from Wales. Joe Schmidt’s star men were nowhere to be seen, and this has been reflected in our Six Nations Team of the Week, with only one Irishman making the XV.

England stole the show this weekend, along with the Six Nations title which is officially now staying with the Red Rose with a game to spare thanks to their demolition of a hapless Scotland side.

Sandwiched between those two games we saw France put in a good showing against Italy, securing a comfortable bonus-point win with some notable performances from the ever-present Gael Fickou, Brice Dulin and Italian captain Segio Parisse.
