Ruan Pienaar Has Not Played His Last Game For Ulster

Ruan Pienaar will be given one more opportunity to say his goodbyes to the Ulster faithful next month.

The South African scrumhalf played his final competitive game for the northern province this past weekend in an emotional win over Leinster. The former Springbok has been forced to uproot his family and leave Ulster after seven seasons due to the IRFU’s succession policy.

Pienaar will join Montpellier next season to form a mouth-watering halfback combination with All Black Aaron Cruden, but before that is set to line out against England at the end of the month with the Barbarians.

The Barbarians will then come to Kingspan on June 1st to take on Ulster, with the Irish province revealing tonight that Pienaar will wear Ulster colours one last time for the game. Absolutely brilliant news.
