The wait is over.
The Lions are officially en route to New Zealand ahead of their 10-match tour. They won’t arrive in Auckland until Wednesday, following a stopover in Melbourne, and will make the 100-mile journey north to Whangarei on Friday.
There’s been some brilliant photos posted online by both the Lions and the players in the squad as they jet off and we’ve picked out some of the best.
