Pic: Scarlets’ James Davies Responds To Diving Claims With Hilarious Tweet

This is brilliant.

Scarlets back-row James Davies has come under some heavy criticism over the last few days for his dramatics in the Champions Cup. Davies received an open-handed slap from Will Skelton, after he held onto the Wallaby’s jersey.

The Welshman reacted by falling to the ground, rather dramatically, resulting in a yellow card for Skelton. The lock realistically was always going to receive a yellow for the incident, but Davies ‘dive’ perhaps suggested he was trying to milk a red from the referee.

The likes of former England international Brian Moore and Saracen’s boss Mark McCall have been highly critical of Davies actions in recent days, with the flanker firing back today on Twitter with this hilarious post.

While we don’t condone his actions, as there’s no place for it in rugby, you’ve got to give it him- the response is hilarious!
