The Lions are officially en route to New Zealand ahead of their 10-match tour. They won’t arrive in Auckland until Wednesday, following a stopover in Melbourne, and will make the 100-mile journey north to Whangarei on Friday.
There’s been some brilliant photos posted online by both the Lions and the players in the squad of the lads boarding, but this selfie by Leigh Halfpenny featuring Johnny Sexton is definitely our favourite of them all.
Sexton isn’t known to be a messer, so seeing him drop this hilarious photobomb is rare. Safe flight lads. Bring the series home.
