Munster Star Ruled Out For The Rest Of The Season With Fractured Leg

Munster will be without their top try-scorer as they bid to end the season with a bit of silverware.

Ronan O’Mahony will miss the final games of the season after thew winger fractured his leg in the win away to Treviso this past weekend. O’Mahony lasted just 18 minutes of Saturday’s victory.

Munster confirmed this afternoon that the 27-year-old wing fractured his fibula during the 34-14 win in Italy.

O’Mahony subsequently won’t play again this season as they bid to win the PRO12 after guaranteeing a home semi-final on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Munster say Conor Murray is progressing with his shoulder rehabilitation as the scrum-half continues to be assessed by the medical team.
