Munster Issue Tyler Bleyendaal Injury Update After Outhalf Was Forced Off In Glasgow Game

Munster playmaker Tyler Bleyendaal was forced off early in tonight’s win over Glasgow in Cork.

Bleyendaal was hit hard in the eight minute of tonight’s PRO12 clash after initially making an excellent break.

When the Kiwi playmaker lay still, Munster fans no doubt saw their season flash before them with their star ten looking to be in serious discomfort.

The former Crusaders star, who is top of the Pro12′s try-assist table as well as leading the goal-kicking accuracy charts, was forced off for a HIA and deemed unable to return to the fold.

Thankfully he remerged in the second-half to take a seat on the bench. Munster have now confirmed that he suffered a concussion in the game, and will no doubt be hoping he can recover in time for their crucial Champions Cup semi-final with Saracens in two weeks time at the Aviva.
