Listen: Donnacha Ryan’s Comments After Final Whistle Show How Much All Blacks Win Meant
60 points to nil.
The wait is over after over a century, Ireland have beaten the mighty All Blacks by a staggering 40 points to 29 in one of the greatest test matches we have ever seen in rugby at Soldier Field in Chicago.
5 amazing tries and what can only be described as a monumental effort by every single player on the pitch. The streak has been defeated, the wait is over, Ireland have secured their first win over the All Blacks after 111 years of trying.
In 2012 Ireland were decimated 60-o by the All Blacks. Since that day Ireland have been patiently waiting, to not only exact revenge, but to finally grab that illusive win over the world famouse All Blacks. Donnacha Ryan echoes that sentiment in the post-match lap of honour.
‘Very slowly. Walk very slowly. I’ve been waiting. 60 points to nil.
