Midi Olympique are reporting that Toulon are expected to complete the signing of Lions, Wales and Ospreys scrumhalf Rhys Webb ahead of next season.
Yann Lesgourgues was head coach Fabien Galthies first-choice scrumhalf target, but has recently signed a new deal with Bordeaux-Begles, with the French giants now turning their attention to Webb.
Webb’s deal with the WRU and Ospreys is up at the end of the season, with the scrumhalf recently revealing talks have taken place. Webb’s halfback partner Dan Biggar has already signed a deal to leave Wales for Northampton leaving Gatland with some tough selection decisions to make next season.
