Legendary All Black Set To Retire At The End Of The Season
Outside centre’s don’t come much better than Conrad Smith.
Former All Blacks centre Conrad Smith is set to retire at the end of the season. Smith, who has been capped 94 times by the All Blacks, played a pivotal role in their 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cup wins, and will go down as one of the finest centres to have ever played the game.
The 35 year-old signed for French side Pau in 2015 on an initial two-year deal, but has enjoyed his time so much in France, he extended his deal for one more season during the summer. This campaign however, will be his last.
Smith, a qualified lawyer, has previously said he may be interested in taking up a coaching role upon retirement, potentially with the French outfit.
