Ireland have done it.
England may be the Six Nations champions but they have been denied a Grand Slam and the unbeaten Test record thanks to a heroic performance by Ireland at the Aviva.
It’s Eddie Jones’ first defeat as England boss since he took over after the 2015 Rugby World Cup and comes as a huge boost to an Ireland side that needed to bounce back after such a disappointing loss to Wales.
Iain Henderson grabbed the only try in the first-half, while Peter O’Mahony was simple untouchable in a man of the match performance, having replaced Jamie Heaslip late before kick-off.
Ireland have once again ended an eighteen game winning streak, however it’s probably a little bit sweeter this time.
