Munster have one major injury concern heading into this weekend’s return fixture with Leicester.
The southern province put on a rugby masterclass this past weekend at Thomond Park, destroying the Tigers 38-0 in a magnificent bonus-point win. Rassie Erasmus’ side were near flawless in their performance and go into the tie full of confidence.
They could however, end up going into the tie without Ireland winger Keith Earls. The Moyross native has a groin injury and a final decision on his fitness is expected on Friday from the Munster medical team.
Leicester head into the tie knowing that anything short of a win may end all hopes of qualification, while a win for Munster puts them in pole position for the knockout stages of the competition following Glasgow’s shock win over Racing in Paris.
Munster currently sit top of the group on maximum points from their opening two games. Should Earls not pass a fitness test, Ronan O’Mahony is expected to come in as his replacement.
