Huge Controversy In England As Irish Back-Row Knocked Unconscious Yet Plays On

Leicester Tigers could be in big trouble.

Northampton got their Premiership season back on track this evening after last week’s humiliation at the hands of Saracens.

The Saints recorded a 24-11 win over rivals Leicester, who are still looking for their first win of the season after defeat to Bath in the opening round.

The huge talking point however, was not the result, but rather how the Tigers dealt with an incident involving former Leinster back-row Dominic Ryan. The Irishman was seemingly knocked unconscious after making a tackle, but was not removed from the field for a HIA.

Just seconds after getting back to his feet Ryan found himself being thrown into a lineout. After the game Tigers coach Geordan Murphy said Ryan is doing fine and did not need a HIA. We reckon we haven’t heard the last of this.
