Here’s How We Think This Weekend’s Six Nations Results Will Go

It’s almost time.

The Six Nations is back this weekend with Round 1 set to commence on Saturday. Up first we’ve got Joe Schmidt’s Ireland who face a difficult trip to Murrayfield to take on Vern Cotter’s Scotland.

Ireland are without Johnny Sexton, while Scotland pose a very real threat, but we think Schmidt’s men will still have enough to come away with the win. The tie of the weekend then follows with England hosting France.

Last year’s Grand Slam champions are without a number of players heading into the tie, but should have enough to overcome an ever-improving France side under Guy Noves. Italy and Wales rounds off the weekend, with their clash set to take place on Sunday.

This is a tricky one. Conor O’Shea has done an excellent job since taking over, while Wales are a shadow of their former selves. An upset could very well be on the cards here, especially with Italy hosting. Wales should hang on, but not by much.
