Georgia Prove Once Again They Must Be Considered For Six Nations Inclusion

Georgia proved once again yesterday that they must be considered for Six Nations inclusion.

55,000 people turned out to watch them defeat Russia in Tbilisi, and continue their course for a seventh successive Rugby Europe Championship.

They ran in four tries in 28-14 victory, to maintain their 100 per cent record in the tournament this season following on from victories over Belgium, Germany and Spain.

Italy on the other hand suffered another embarrassing defeat against France the weekend, missing 50+ tackles in the game.

Georgia are extremely serious in their bid for a Six Nations spot, and are reportedly ready to pay £8.5m a year from a variety of sources for a space in Europe’s elite competition.
