Eben Etzebeth alongside Maro Otoje. My god.
Eben Etzebeth is set for a shock short-term move to Premiership champions Saracens. The monster lock is set to join for a two-month spell following the November international series.
Stormers Director of Rugby however, has some concerns over the move due to Etzebeth’s lack of off-season.
Speaking to the Daily Mail he said,
“We need to hear what the expectations of Saracens and SA Rugby are. Players have a tough workload. We need to be convinced that this is a good rugby decision for Eben, not just a financial decision. We don’t want our players injured.”
Etzebeth could link up with fellow Springboks Schalk Burger and Schalk Brits as well as forming a formidable partnership with either George Kruis or Maro Otoje.
What a signing this could end up being for the reigning English and European champions.
