Donnacha Ryan Has The Best Reason Ever For Missing His College Graduation
Sorry lads, have to go make history.
Donnacha Ryan has been one of those unfortunate professionals that has seen injury blight a large part of his career, somewhat preventing him for ever scaling the heights he was destined for.
The towering lock battled with a toe problem for over two years, that almost ended his career. Thankfully however he’s managed to battle through and is playing some of his best rugby as he approaches the twilight zone.
Understandably while Ryan battled with injury, he decided to go back to college and and start thinking about a second career. Speaking to Brendan Fanning in the Sunday Independent, Ryan reveals he decided to take up a course in geology.
Unfortunately for Ryan, he missed his graduation back in November and had to reschedule. Why you ask? Sure he was only in Chicago with Ireland beating the All Blacks for the first time in 111 years. No biggie.
