Breaking: 2016 World Rugby Coach Of The Year Revealed

The World Rugby Awards are currently taking place in London.

Three men were nominated for World Rugby coach of the year, with New Zealand’s Steve Hansen, England’s Eddie Jones and Ben Ryan of Fiji all considered for the prestigious award.

Steve Hansen lifted the 2015 Rugby World Cup with the All Blacks before regaining the Rugby Championship and going unbeaten for a record 18 games before their defeat to Ireland last week. Eddie Jones is undefeated since his took over as England boss, winning a Grand Slam and defeating Australia 3-0 down under on the way.

The other nominee, Ben Ryan of Fiji, brought Olympic Gold to the national sevens side this year at Rio, the first Olympic Gold medal of any kind for the small pacific island.
