Rob Howley has another fresh injury concern ahead of the Six Nations.

Wales are already set to be without Gethin Jenkins and Lydiate ahead of the Six Nations with Bath forward Toby Faletau also a concern ahead of their opening game next month. Howley also witnessed Samson Lee limp off on New Year’s Day with a calf issue that is yet to be determined.

After last night’s PRO12 action, Howley will once again be sweating on the fitness of another established international. Scrumhalf Gareth Davies limped off last night, failing to make it past half-time as the Scarlets picked up a win over Ulster.

Davies has been instrumental for Wales in recent years, with Rhys Webb’s fitness a constant concern. Webb is due back for Ospreys this month after overcoming ankle ligament damage picked up in Wales’ loss to Australia back in November.

Webb however will be short of match fitness heading into the Six Nations and losing Davies would leave Howley short of quality at nine ahead of their opening game.
