An All Blacks Legend Is Working With The Wallabies To Plot Their Downfall
Look away now All Blacks fans.
All Blacks legend Brad Thorn has been drafted in to help the Wallabies defeat New Zealand ahead of their Bledisloe Cup opener on August 19. Thorn is no stranger to Australian rugby as he has been coaching with the Queensland Reds since his retirement.
The 2011 Rugby World Cup-winning lock has been drafted in alongside legendary Wallaby scrumhalf George Gregan and Cheika looks to revitalise the Australian players after a disastrous Super Rugby season.
Also at the camp is Australian skills coach Mick Byrne, who was All Blacks skills coach for their 2011 and 2015 World Cup wins before joining Australia last year. Cheika will no doubt need all the help he can get if the Wallabies are to score a famous win.
