All Blacks Duo Meet With European Club To Discuss Possible Moves
Toulon are reportedly interested in the services of New Zealand duo Israel Dagg and Malakai Fekitoa after meeting with the players last week.
Midi Olympique reported that Dagg and Fekitoa met with the Toulon owner, Mourad Boudjellal, at a hotel, with Dagg receiving an offer. New Zealand played France in Paris last weekend.
Midi Olympique said Toulon still face stiff competition from Bordeaux and Toulouse for Dagg’s services. The paper said the French giants didn’t face any competition for Fekitoa’s signature, but was yet to make an offer.
Dagg and Fekitoa might not be the only All Blacks to leave, with Aaron Cruden reportedly interested in joining the exodus. The outhalf, who has played second fiddle to Beauden Barrett all season, has been linked with a move to Montpellier.
Dagg has also been linked with Leinster in recent weeks, with the Irish province said to have held talks with the utility back in Dublin following Ireland’s game with the All Blacks at the Aviva.
